This is the nicest 1965 Thunderbird we have had the pleasure to offer.

The car is fitted with a continental kit with spare and Kelsey-Hayes Wire Wheels. In addition it has power windows, power brakes, power antenna, power door locks, power steering and power top. The switch console does cause a solenoid click when pressing on top up but not top down. The locks are released as I am manually able to lift the deck lid up a few inches above the locks. These cars were well appointed from the factory including air conditioning, reclining passenger seat, swing-away steering wheel and sequential rear turn signals. I am jumping power from the positive post in the trunk about a foot away from the relays. All instrumentation on the dashboard are beautiful and all work as designed. All painted surfaces shine with a deep luster and all chrome and brightwork are in show condition. The car is cosmetically stunning and functionally excellent. V 8 hemispherical combustion chambers w/ohv & ohcamshafts for each engine bank. This generation of the Thunderbird was restyled in favor of a more squared-off, 'formal' look. It is believed to have its original 390 CI V8 with Ford Cruise-O-Matic Automatic transmission. The fourth generation Ford Thunderbird is a large personal luxury car produced by Ford for the 1964 to 1966 model years.
